Description

NGC 288 is a globular cluster in the constellation Sculptor with an estimated age of 13.5 billion years and is about 29,000 light years distant.
It has an apparent magnitude of 8.12 and is 13.8 arcminutes in size.

I find the shorter 180s exposures work well on globular clusters and helps to keep the core resolved and the extra exposures are all the better to remove the plague of Star Link satellite trails the typically destroy a lot of subs earlier in the evening.

Given it's location, the number of background galaxies is no surprise.

Again, the new Spectrophotometric Color Calibration tool in Pixinsight was used which is a  major leap forward for RGB image processing.
